I have lived 40 minutes outside of New York City for my whole life. No one appreciates the hustle and bustle of city life more than I do. Not only do I appreciate it - I revel in it, and I love it. Some of the photos within this collection showcase these classically New York scenes. However, there is so much more to New York City than the activity that makes it famous. There are 8 million people in the city, each with a unique and interesting story to tell, if you are willing to look into them. In summer of 2022, I participated in a photojournalism course through the School of the New York Times. Through this and other photographic opportunities in the city, I have been able to look into different people’s unique and interesting stories, and I can truly tell you that it is worth hearing as many of these stories as you can.
